European Eco-label
éthic étapes Val de Loire received its official eco-label as a tourist accommodation services provider in March 2015 and became the first tourism establishment in Blois to receive this European certification.
The European Eco-label recognizes establishments efforts for sustainable development thanks to their actions aimed at saving energy, reducing waste and improving the local environment.

Food waste reduction
éthic étapes Val de Loire has been working for several years already to improve what they have already undertaken in favor of sustainable development. After receiving the European Eco-label and improving its restaurant service, the next objective is to reduce food waste in the restaurant. As part of a UNAT CV2L restaurant program and with the help of local and Regional (Food, Agriculture and Forestry) competent authorities, a full day of analysis took place and enabled the efficiency of the existing actions to be measured as well as new areas of improvement to be studied. The results of the Ethic Etapes analysis are very positive. An example for others to follow !

Tourism and disability
To ensure that people with disabilities could access the site, éthic étapes Val de Loire sought and obtained the Tourism & Disability label, for the 4 deficiencies.
